Sunbathers Daisies come from NuFlora International's breeding programme at the University of Sydney, Australia.

They're new generation gazanias with characteristics that others can only dream of ~ incredible flower performance, dense growth habit and flower cover, large brightly-coloured flowers, improved tolerance toward cold and an all-round superior performance.

Sunbather Daisies are high impact, low maintenance, water-saving plants that form a dense rounded clump, great for ground cover and container application.

 Montezuma PVR
From spring to autumn Montezuma's flowers impress all that see them. When young they resemble a wagon wheel with lemon-to-gold fine petals radiating from a bold centre. As the flowers mature, the petals broaden and open to reveal a stunning purple shade with white tips. Green leaves with grey undersides & just 40cm tall and spreading to 50cm.

Compact, non-invasive hybrids gazania with a profusion of large, semi- to fully-double flowers set against grey &/or green foliage.

Versatile low-maintenance ground cover for large tubs or decorative pots, edging of pathways and paved areas, rockeries, seaside gardens, banks, and walls.

Best in full sun, the flowers close under low-light conditions. Plant in a free-draining soil with moderate to low fertility. It's best to avoid "luxuriant" conditions which encourages soft growth. Hardy to drought, coastal conditions and light frost. An occasional clip to remove spent flower will prolong flowering. Apply a light feed in autumn.
